ABOUT THE ART: This 20" x 20" oil on canvas, part of the Morning Drive series, masterfully captures the sensation of looking out a rain-dappled car window at a passing landscape. The painting features delicate raindrops that bead and streak across the surface, acting as tiny prisms that refract the scenery behind them. The background, rendered in undulating greens and muted yellows, suggests a lush countryside seen through a softened, impressionistic lens. The fluid brushstrokes create a sense of movement, evoking the memory of trees and wildflowers racing past as the car glides down the road. The play of light and shadow hints at a misty morning, lending the artwork an ethereal, almost dreamlike quality. This piece invites the viewer to pause and recall the quiet poetry found in everyday journeys and fleeting moments.
