In this painting you find yourself in that familiar moment: a Washington, D.C. street at dusk where brake lights dissolve into blue-gray air and buildings soften at the edges.

What should feel frustrating begins to feel cinematic. Warm gold cuts through the cool tones of the city and the motion settles into rhythm instead of chaos.

From across the room the lights gather into a soft glow of evening traffic; step closer and the brushwork reveals the movement behind it. Living with the painting becomes a quiet reminder that even in motion there can be calm—a brief breath in the middle of everything.

Painted in oil on canvas using layered glazing, the work captures a fleeting urban moment suspended between movement and stillness.

Getting to know DENNIS CRAYON

Dennis Crayon Realist Contemporary Realism I’ve earn a bachelor’s degree in graphic design from the State University of New York and later earned a diploma from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston in painting.
